Charleston, WV – Anesthesiology – Scheduled, No Call
Start Date: 6/1/2026
Pay Range: (role‑dependent)
ROLE OPTIONS (CHOOSE ONE)
Cardiac Anesthesiology
• Full spectrum cardiac surgical cases
• TEE required
• Must be willing to supervise CRNAs
General Anesthesiology (Peds/OB Required)
• General surgery cases with pediatric and OB experience required
• Must be willing to supervise CRNAs
HIGHLIGHTS
• Long‑term assignment: June–December 2026
• Approx. 120 shifts available
• Daytime coverage (mostly 8–10 hrs; some 12s possible, not guaranteed)
• No guaranteed call
• Float pool—providers may work across multiple hospitals
• Cerner EMR
• Adult patient population
• Kidney transplants only (no liver or heart transplants)
SCHEDULE
• Day shifts starting around 7:00am
• Released as cases complete and OR volume decreases
• No guaranteed call shifts, though occasional call coverage may be requested
• Coverage spans multiple hospitals within the system
CASE MIX
Cardiac Role:
• Cardiac surgical procedures
• TEE
• Adult cardiac cases
General/Peds/OB Role:
• Adult general cases
• Pediatric anesthesia
• OB cases
• Full spectrum of surgical procedures
DEPARTMENT DETAILS
• Hospital‑based practice
• Multiple campuses within the Charleston area
• EMR: Cerner
• Float pool structure
REQUIREMENTS
All Providers:
• Board Certified
• Minimum 2 years recent hospital experience
• DEA & CSR required
• Willing to supervise CRNAs
• Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
Cardiac Anesthesia:
• Cardiac experience required
• TEE certification required
• WV license, IMLC, or eligible for WV temporary license
General/Peds/OB Anesthesia:
• Must be able to perform pediatric and OB cases
• WV license required
