1. Healthcare practices of all sizes struggle to implement technology solutions due to budget and expertise constraints.

Integrating telehealth and artificial intelligence technologies are game changers when it comes to patient access and operational efficiency. In the webinar, Amelia and Dr. Esco explore telehealth adoption in rural areas and the barriers of Wi-Fi deserts, as well as leveraging AI solutions to drive more accessible care for patient communities.

It is worth noting that 81% of healthcare organizations have telehealth offerings in some capacity. However, the potential for telehealth programs have not yet been fully realized in practices big and small.

2. Many facilities face gaps in their service lines and are unable to backfill physicians quickly, resulting in financial loss that compounds daily.

As more medical organizations intend to expand the roles of APPs (PAs, NPs, CNMs, CRNAs and others), the focus is shifting to cross-training and collaborative work between physicians and these integral roles. This shift relies heavily on mutual trust and open communication between physicians and APPs in the workplace.

3. In a highly competitive labor market, pressure to retain top talent and to maintain a content workforce is high.

Sign-on bonuses and competitive salaries are key components in provider recruitment, but they are not the end of the story. In the webinar, Dr. Esco emphasized that the best retention strategies involve helping providers to feel like they are valued decision-makers within their facilities. Reducing burnout through administrative support and using hybrid work schedules to improve work-life balance were cited as meaningful retention practices as well.

To see how these trends play out across different healthcare settings, watch the full webinar. The presentation delves into actionable takeaways that are data-based and grounded in meaningful provider survey responses.
