Cardiothoracic Surgery APP Needed in CA

Job description

I have a client in Orange, CA who's seeking experienced APPs for locum coverage starting in April. Here are the job details.

13-week assignment with the option to extend

Full-time, 3x12/hour shifts per week (day shift for now)

Work Details:
· Patient population/age: Adults
· Department description: Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery service, CABGS, Transplants, VADS, Thoracic cases. CT removal, PW removal, CXR interpretation is required. Vein harvesting.
If candidate does not do Vein Harvesting, please include in sub and let us know. Priority for candidates that can do this but not hard requirement right now.

* Physician Assistant-
-Vein harvesting, First assist, chest closure and pacing wires/chest tube removal. No need for LVAD or transplant just yet.
Preference for weekend coverage.


*Nurse Practitioner
- 85% of time primary caregiver in managing post op clinical pathways, oversee cardiac surgery pts as they transition from ICU, pre-op planning

· EMR: EPIC

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
· Board Certification: yes, required
· License required: CA
· Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
· Minimum experience required: 1-2 years of experience required

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
