Cardiology APP Needed in Newton, MA

Start: July/August

13-week assignment

• Support staff: 10 MDs, 4 PAs
• Coverage Type: hospital
• Schedule Details: Monday- Friday; 4x10s from 8a-6:30PM
Work Details:
• Practice Setting: hospital
• EMR/Charting Software: epic
• Avg. Daily Census: 5-6
• Patient Age Group: adult
• Procedures:
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d
• State License(s): MA
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d:1
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

Travel: Mileage or public transportation only

General Cardiology—Inpatient only. The reason for the need is Maternity Leave starting August 1. The staffing coverage is 2 or 3 PAs with 1 attending physician. The locum would be seeing new consults and follow-ups. No procedures. The consult service is for the hospitalist team. There is no dedicated cardiac unit. There is a mix of patient care and care coordination.
