A hospital is seeking a cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in southern Indiana.

About the clinician's workday

The schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, managing a variety of conditions such as coronary artery disease, ischemic heart disease, pericardial disease, cardiomyopathies, endocarditis, dysrhythmias, valvular heart disease, adult congenital heart disease, and vascular disorders. The role may also involve providing support to satellite and outreach locations associated with the hospital. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC, and the position may require a week of Monday to Friday coverage with or without weekend call, or two weeks back-to-back with weekend call. The cardiologist must be available for a minimum of one week per month and the facility is open to hiring more than one provider. An Indiana license is required, and the schedule will be provided in advance so the cardiologist will know which location they will be covering.
