Opportunity Overview
We are seeking Board-Certified Cardiologists for an ongoing locum assignment at a Level II Trauma Center. This role combines clinic and inpatient coverage with call responsibilities, offering flexibility and long-term stability while the facility transitions to permanent hires.

Schedule & Coverage

Weekly Block: Monday 8:00 a.m. – Monday 7:00 a.m.
Preferred: 7-day stretches including clinic + weekend call
Call Details:

Weekends: 24-hour call (mostly phone consults; rare in-person)


Coverage Need:

1–3 locum providers to cover 3 weeks per month
Setting: Hospital or clinic based on greatest need

Work Details
Patients per Shift: 9–12
Support Staff: Yes
Trauma Level: II
Beds in Department: 29
EMR: Epic

Skills Required:
Outpatient Cardiology
Inpatient Cardiology
ICU coverage

Requirements
Board Certification: Required
Licensure: Active MT license or IMLC
Fellowship: Preferred
Certifications: ACLS
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days

Ideal Candidate
Experienced in both inpatient and outpatient cardiology
Comfortable with ICU-level care
Flexible for clinic + call mix
Strong communicator for phone consults
