• Location: Near Lewisburg, WV
• Target Start: June
• Length of commitment: 6 months with the option to extend
• Shift Details: 24-hour shifts
• Schedule: 7am – 7am
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time
• Patients per day: 6-20
• Department description: Cardiology department covering the hospital and office/clinic coverage
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital bed size: 122
• General Cardiology: Hospital and Office
• In-Office Responsibilities: Evaluation and management of new and established patients, Cardiac risk assessments, EKGs, Holter monitor placements, Pacemaker check clinic
• Hospital Responsibilities: Patient rounding, Supervision of echocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, and nuclear stress testing, TEE, Cardioversions
• Hospital Call:
o Includes patient rounding and consultations
o 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
o averaging 6-10 patients per day
o Minimal nighttime phone calls, with rare instances requiring in-hospital visits
• Requirements: Board Certified, Active WV License, DEA, BLS, ACLS
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice covered
