Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Psychotherapist – Supervision & Consultation

✅ Qualifications
✔️ Active, unrestricted NY State LCSW license
✔️ Minimum 1 year supervising LMSW-level personnel
✔️ Experience in medical, legal, forensic, or public health settings
✔️ Background in grief counseling related to opioid overdose or traumatic loss
✔️ Strong clinical supervision, trauma-informed care, cultural competence, and professional discretion

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Conduct 45-minute one-on-one supervision sessions with DIIG social workers
✔️ Support supervisees in developing clinical knowledge, counseling skills, and reflective practice
✔️ Assist with processing secondary trauma and work-related stress
✔️ Promote ethical, trauma-informed grief support practices
✔️ Identify learning needs and reinforce supervisee strengths
✔️ Provide consultation aligned with OCME program objectives
✔️ Maintain strict confidentiality in all supervision discussions
✔️ Introduce and model supervision frameworks (belief structures, culture/values, transference/countertransference, parallel process)
✔️ Participate in coordination meetings with DIIG Supervising Social Worker and Deputy Director to ensure alignment and standards
