Medical ICU NP/PA Needd in CA - Aya Locums

Job description

I have a client in San Francisco, CA seeking an experienced Critical Care APP for locum coverage starting in July. Please see a few details below:

• 6-month assignment
• Shifts/Schedules: 3 x 12 (Minimum 12 shifts per month) Schedule: 630a-630p,
630p-630a; Nights/Weekends required
• Will work the following units: MICU
• Skills required: Central lines, arterial lines, moderate sedation, intubation
assistance. In-house staff to assist where needed. Intubation is not required
but should be able to recognize when needed. Complex vent and sedation
management. Responsible for codes in the unit along with the rest of the
entire team.
• Travel and Malpractice covered
• Patients per day: 8-16
• Hospital bed size: 87 in the ICU

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes
• License: CA
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENLS
• DEA
• CSR
• Required: Min 2yrs recent relevant experience in any of the critical care
practices, including neuro, SICU, medical ICU, and/or CVICU

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
