Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Needed in Northern Virginia
Target Start Date: (as soon as credentialed ~ 90 days)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (ongoing potential)
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; rotating days and nights
Call Details: No call
Job Details:

Emergency department coverage at a community acute-care hospital
APPs manage low-to-moderate acuity patients with physician support on shift
Mix of bread-and-butter emergency medicine, moderate trauma, and medical emergencies
Steady, predictable patient flow typical of a community ED environment
Metrics-driven workflow with standard documentation expectations

Requirements:

Nurse Practitioner with Emergency Medicine experience preferred
Active state license required (no licensing assistance)
Must be flexible for both day and night shifts
Credentialing timeframe: minimum 90 days
Non-local candidates only (must reside 50+ miles from facility)
