Endocrinology Locum Need in VA

Start Date: 7/1/2024

Contract Length: 6+ months

Shift Details: Monday-Friday

Schedule: M-F, 8a-4:30p. One half day for admin catch up

Work Details:

Support staff: Dedicated RN for locum, Appointment coordinator
Amount of coverage needed per month: Full time
Patients per day: 15-18. 20 min follow-ups, 40 min new patient
Patient population/age: Adult only
Department description: 6 Endocrinologists to group, all have designated RN’s and appointment coordinator. No APP’s. Need help due to upcoming Maternity leave and MD moving out of state.

Board Certification: Required
State license required: Preference for VA licensed candidates, but will look at licensing
DEA: Required
Minimum experience required: 2 years experience.
Credentialing Timeframe: 45 days

• Ongoing for 6 months with option to extend
• 45 day Credentialing
• EMR: EPIC
