Primary Care Physician Needed in PA

Job description

I have a client in Scotrun, PA seeking a Primary Care Physician physician for locum coverage starting as soon as possible. Please see a few details below:

Contract Length: 3 months ongoing

Shift Details: Mon-Fri and one weekend a month

Schedule: 8/8:30a – 5/5:30p depending on admissions

Work Details:
How much time is allowed for new consults: 60 minutes
How much time is allowed for follow-ups (med checks): 15-30 minutes
Department Description: The program is in-patient and residential.
EMR: KIPU
Special Procedures: The MD will be performing medical management of both acute intoxication, detoxification, MAT, and basic general medical care (mostly continuation of outside prescribed medication with "tweaks" if needed. On occasion, we may need to initiate medical therapy for newly diagnosed medical conditions. Schedules II-V drugs (all medications short of Schedule I).

Practice Setting:
Residential facility

Requirements:
Board Certification: BC
License Required: Active PA license required

Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks to credential
