Position: Physician Assistant – Gastroenterology
Location: Wilmington, NC (Out-Patient Clinic)
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
Start Date: April 1, 2025
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Schedule:
4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Shifts available Monday-Sunday

Work Details:
Practice Setting: Hospital – Inpatient GI
Average Daily Census: 15-25 patients
Patient Population: Adults
Procedures: Clinical consults for inpatient service, colonoscopy, EGD, PEG insertion
Supervision: PA will be supervised by an MD
Charting System: EPIC

Compensation:
Pay Range: $90.00 - $100.00/hour
Travel & Lodging: Covered (Flight, rental car, hotel, mileage)

Requirements:
Board Certification: Required in Gastroenterology
State License: North Carolina (Required)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
DEA License: Required
Minimum Experience: 1 year of GI experience preferred
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
