I’m supporting a Gastroenterology opportunity in Anchorage offering weekday clinic coverage with shared overnight and weekend call. This role focuses on general GI with manageable volumes, strong onsite support, and no requirement for ERCP or EUS.

HIGHLIGHTS
• Weekday clinic hours with call coverage
• General GI only — no ERCP or EUS required
• Strong RN, CMA, scheduler, and APP support
• Cerner EMR
• Acute care hospital setting
• Long‑term assignment

SCHEDULE
• Clinic hours: 8:00am–4:00pm
• Weeknight overnight call required
• Weekend call: 24‑hour coverage
• Call shared with department coverage

CASE MIX
• General GI
• Clinic: ~10–12 patients/day
• Full endoscopy days: ~15 procedures/day
• No ERCP
• No EUS

DEPARTMENT DETAILS
• Acute care hospital
• Support team includes 2 RNs, 2 CMAs, 2 schedulers, plus APP
• EMR: Cerner

REQUIREMENTS
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterology
• Alaska license required
• DEA
• COVID‑19 vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

• No requirement for ERCP or EUS
• Weekday clinic coverage
• Strong RN, CMA, scheduler, and APP support
