Locum Gastroenterology physician needed in Delaware

Location: Delaware
Rate: Hourly, Expenses covered
Need: Locum GI Physician
Setting: Endoscopy/Office coverage, potentially IP coverage as needed
Dates: Internal GI physician out on maternity leave starting in August 2026 and will be returning in January 2027
Specialty: Gastroenterology
Certs: Prefer BC-GI, ACLS, BLS. Prefer those licensed in Delaware, open to review those with active IMLC/LOQ.
EMR: EPIC
Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
Shifts/Schedule Expectations: 2.5 days Endoscopy Tue/Thu/Fri. & 2 days Office Per week Wed and Friday. Inpatient call during the week potential. Coverage is needed every week.
Patients per day/Census for GI: About 16 patients per day with a 75/25 mix of established to new
• Does site use conscious sedation and/or anesthesiology support? 24/7 anesthesia
• Required Life Certifications: BLS preferred
• Will you accept truly Board Eligible? BC preferred
• Will be credentialing at 2 sites
