ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: JO# 2677016
• Location: Decatur, IL
• Target Start: Late April
• Length of commitment: 4-6 months with the option to extend
• Setting: Inpatient consult service, outpatient procedures, call
• Schedule: 1 week per month, Monday (8a) to Monday (8a)
o Weekday 8a-5p Onsite, PM Call
o Weekend 8-12 Onsite, PM call
• Patients per shift: 10-15 per shift (Outpatient scope on select mornings)
• Support staff: 1-2 MD Gastro, 3 APP’s
• Cases/procedures: Upper GI Endo (w/ biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder), PEG, Esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, colonoscopy (biopsy, excision of polyp) and liver biopsy.
• Not Required: EUS, ERCP, PH Monitoring, Esophageal manometry interpretation and sigmoidoscopy.
• EMR: Cerner/powerchart
• Requirements: Board Certified, Active IL License **Will License, DEA, BLS
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
