I’m working on a Gastroenterology locum‑to‑perm opportunity in Eastern Kentucky with a welcoming, relationship‑driven culture. This is a long‑term need with weekday clinic hours, procedure mix including ERCP, and APP support in place. The client prefers one consistent provider but will consider two who alternate weeks.

HIGHLIGHTS

SCHEDULE
• Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
• Call shared between providers
• Call details (onsite vs offsite and frequency): TBD
• Client prefers one consistent provider but will consider alternating coverage

CASE MIX
• Upper endoscopies (EGD)
• Colonoscopies
• ERCP (required)
• EUS not required
• EMR not required
• Patient population includes higher‑acuity and non‑compliant patients; strong communication skills valued

DEPARTMENT DETAILS
• Acute care hospital
• APP support in place
• EMR: TBD
• Average daily procedure volume: TBD
• Supportive OR and service line leadership

REQUIREMENTS
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterology
• Willing to license in Kentucky
• DEA
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Comfortable with higher‑acuity patient population
• Credentialing timeline: ~3 months (includes Medicare & Medicaid enrollment)
