Job Title: Gastroenterologist (MD)
Start Date: January 1, 2025
Contract Length: 3+ months
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist to provide part-time coverage starting in January 2025. This role requires coverage for two weeks per month, focused on both consults and procedures in an outpatient clinic setting. Ideal candidates will have experience with advanced cases, particularly cancer-related, and be proficient in general GI procedures with upper and lower conscious sedation.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct 9-13 GI procedures daily, with consults scheduled for 45-60 minutes and follow-ups at 30 minutes
Perform general GI procedures, with ERCP and EUS experience preferred but not required
Work primarily with patients of all ages, handling a mix of general and advanced cases

Requirements:
Board Certification: Required
License: State license NOT required
DEA and Certifications: DEA, ACLS, and BLS required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred

Additional Information:
EMR: Cerner
Special Procedures: ERCP/EUS preferred, especially for advanced cases (cancer-related proficiency preferred)
