𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞:
Locum Tenens Physician – 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterology physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Michigan. The provider will deliver inpatient and outpatient GI services, including endoscopy coverage and consults, with a structured weekday schedule and weekend call coverage.

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞:
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend Call: 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday only
No weekday night call

𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care
- Endoscopy coverage during scheduled hours
- Perform and interpret procedures, including ERCP (required)
- GI consults within scheduled work hours

𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐞:
- Approximately 18 outpatient scopes/day
- Approximately 20 inpatient scopes/day

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠:
- Hospital-based GI clinic
- Endoscopy suite with full hospital support
- Onsite lab and X-ray services

𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟:
- 2 Physicians
- 2 Advanced Practice Providers
- Full specialty services available onsite

𝐄𝐌𝐑:
- Cerner

𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
- Weekend call only (Saturday/Sunday)
- No weeknight call

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Completed GI Fellowship with minimum 2–3 years of experience
- ERCP experience required
- Active Michigan medical license and CSR at time of submission
- DEA (verbal confirmation required at name clear)
- ACLS certification
- Clean background (minimum malpractice acceptable)
- COVID vaccination required
- Local candidates only (no travel candidates)

𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞:
- NPDB self-query (within 30 days)
- Immunizations: Hep B, MMR, Varicella (or titers)
- Flu vaccine (current season)
- TB test within 12 months
- Tdap within last 10 years

• Hospital-based Gastroenterology locum
• Weekday daytime schedule (7:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• ERCP required
