𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞:
Locum Tenens Physician – 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Bay City, Michigan. This position focuses on 24-hour call coverage with weekday responsibilities and no weekend call. The provider will support inpatient gastroenterology services, perform advanced procedures, and collaborate with hospitalist and surgical teams.

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 & 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞:
- Monday–Thursday: 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- No weekend call

𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Provide inpatient gastroenterology consults
- Endoscopic procedures with ERCP required
- Call coverage including in-house and night call
- Collaborate with hospitalists and colorectal surgeons

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠:
- Hospital-based gastroenterology service
- GI clinic located less than 0.5 miles from the hospital
- Support from hospitalist team and 2 colorectal surgeons

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (required)
- ERCP experience required
- Active Michigan medical license (IMLC accepted only if 60+ days out with LOQ)
- DEA required at time of start
- Clean malpractice history (required for expedited credentialing)
- NPDB self-query within 30 days
