Job description

Hospital-based Gastroenterology locums coverage is needed in DuBois, PA for a short-term assignment. Coverage consists of 24-hour call with full inpatient support and the ability to obtain emergency privileges.

Assignment Details
- Specialty: Gastroenterology
- Start Date: March 20, 2026 (7:00a) – March 23, 2026 (7:00a)
- Contract Length: 12 days
- Schedule: Monday–Sunday
- Coverage Type: 24-hour call (7a–7a)

Clinical Details:
- Patient Volume: ~12 patients per day (inpatient)
- Patient Population: Adults (18+)
- Scope of Work: Emergent GI procedures only
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based GI service

Support & Resources
- Full hospital support staff
- RN, NP, specialty backup
- 24-hour anesthesia coverage
- No clinic responsibilities

Requirements:
- Board Certified Gastroenterologist
- Active state license required (no time to license)
- DEA required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Emergency privileges available within 1 week for clean files
