GI Locum Assignment in Southeast | May Coverage | No Call & No Weekends

Good afternoon,

This is Sergio Cayetano with Aya Locums. I’m reaching out to share a new and exciting Gastroenterology locum opportunity in the Southeast offering weekday-only coverage, no call, and no weekends in a well-supported endoscopy and hospital consult setting.

📅 Assignment Overview
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Daily Workflow:
• 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM: Outpatient endoscopy procedures
• 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Inpatient rounding and consults
Call: None
Weekends: None

📆 Coverage Dates Needed
May 4–8: 2 providers
May 11–15: 3 providers
May 18–22: 3 providers
May 25–29: 3 providers
June 1–5: 2 providers

🏥 Practice & Clinical Details
• Setting: Outpatient endoscopy center with hospital consult coverage
• Patient Population: Adult
• Patient Volume: Approximately 3–5 consults per day
• Procedures: Approximately 2–3 per week
• EMR: Epic

🩺 Procedures / Skills
• Upper endoscopy
• Colonoscopy
• Inpatient consults
• ERCP/EUS NOT required

🩺 Requirements
• Board Certified Gastroenterology
• Active South Carolina license required

⏱ Credentialing Timeline
Approximately 60–90 days with a clean file
