Gastroenterology Locum Tenens Opportunity – South Carolina

Job description

We are seeking multiple Board-Certified Gastroenterologists for a locum tenens assignment in South Carolina. This is a no-call, weekday-only opportunity working between an outpatient endoscopy center and a nearby hospital.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday

7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour days)

7:30 AM – 3:00 PM: Outpatient procedures

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Inpatient rounding and/or procedures

No call required

Coverage Needs:

May 4–8: 2 GI providers

May 11–15: 3 GI providers

May 18–22: 3 GI providers

May 25–29: 3 GI providers

June 1–5: 2 GI providers

Practice Setting:

Outpatient endoscopy center + hospital consults

Facilities are located directly across the street from one another

Patient Volume: 3–5 patients per day

Procedures: 2–3 per week

Patient Population: Adults

Advanced procedures (ERCP/EUS) NOT required

Required Skills:

Upper endoscopy

Colonoscopy

GI consults

Requirements:

Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Active South Carolina license (required – no licensing assistance available)

IMLC not accepted

Active DEA

BLS & ACLS required

Minimum 2 years of experience

Clean background required
