Job Title: Gastroenterologist (MD)
Start Date: March 3, 2025
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Full-Time, 24/7 call coverage, 7 AM - 7 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a full-time locum position with 24/7 call coverage starting in March 2025. The role requires advanced skills in gastroenterology and hepatology, ideally including Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). The physician will provide comprehensive GI services across the Emergency Department, Clinical Command Center, and hospital floors, with the support of a dedicated endoscopy team.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide full-time GI coverage with 24/7 call, responding to the ED, Command Center, and floors
Conduct procedures and consultations with endoscopy support (nurse and tech)
Handle a range of GI and hepatology cases, including advanced procedures for transfers from community hospitals
Support Staff: Endoscopy staff, including nurse and tech

Requirements:
Board Certification: Required in Gastroenterology
License: Must have an active IMLC license
DEA and CSR: Required
Certifications: BLS required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in GI, with advanced procedural experience preferred
