Gastroenterology Physician Coverage Needed in Bellingham, WA

This facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

8hr Day shift (Most days are 8am-5pm or 7:30am-4:30pm) and no weekends except for when on call. They also work on a rotating schedule of 5 days a week, 4 days the following week, 5 days the week after, etc. So within a 2 week span they work a total of 72 hours.

Call requirement is about 1:6 or 1:7 (7 days of call every 6-7 weeks)– The department is going through changes so there is no concrete call schedule yet but the leaders are working on this.

Looking for 1.0 FTE (The ask is for one provider to fill this entire FTE) going for 3 months (With a strong likelihood of needing a 5 month coverage)

• Setting: Clinic and Hospital, Adult – 18 years+, No peds. Working as part of a practice with other GI physicians. 16 patients in the clinic and 14-16 in the outpatient endoscopy center.
• Types of Cases: Rounding, admissions and procedures (Hospitalists typically does admissions and then consults GI).
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ days
