Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Gastroenterology physician for a long-term locums opportunity in Washington, beginning March 2026. This assignment offers consistent, part-time coverage with a balanced inpatient and call structure.

Assignment Overview
Long-term locums coverage (through March 2027)
Approximately 2 weeks per month
Primarily inpatient coverage, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Night call after shift and 24-hour weekend call

Occasional outpatient clinic coverage as needed
(provider would return to the hospital to complete the 12-hour shift)

Clinical Environment
Adult patient population
Low average daily census

Inpatient and outpatient GI procedures
Epic EMR

Requirements
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Washington license required or IMLC accepted
Comfortable with inpatient GI and call coverage

Additional Details
OT applies after 12 hours per day
Credentialing timeframe approximately 60–90 days
Travel support available per guidelines
