Internal Med GI Physician needed in WA

Job description

-Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
-Schedule: Provider will be working 2 weeks per month, primarily inpatient 7a-7p with night call after shift and 24-hour call coverage over the weekend. If needed, provider may work 1 day a week in the outpatient clinic (Would return to hospital to finish 12 hour shift after clinic)..
-Work Details:
· Support staff: RN: 2, MA:2, PA/NP:2
· Patients per shift: 1
· Patient population/age: Adult
· Trauma Level: 3
· EMR: EPIC
· Skills required: Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), with foreign body removal, With injection of varices), Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible), Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp)
• Practice Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
-Requirements:
· Board Certification: Yes
· License required: Licensed in WA
-Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90

• 12 month contract
• Medical malpractice insurance provided
• Active WA License
