GI Hospitalist Opening in West Virginia

Job description

Specialty: GI Hospitalist
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (approx. 60 days)
Contract Length: 120 days to 6 months
Shift Details: 7:30 – 5:30 daytime hours
Schedule: 7 days per week
Work Details: Inpatient hospitalist at Memorial Division. Cover day and nighttime on-call schedule.
· Support staff: APP’s during daytime hours Mon – Fri. Weekends we have a 3-team member approach to cover inpatient consults
· Patients per day: 20 - 25 patients per day.
· Patient population/age: 18 up
· Department description: Gastroenterology inpatient areas.
· EMR: CERNER
· Special procedures: General GI Procedures. Colonoscopies and EDG’s
· Skills required: gastroenterology
Practice Setting:
• Endoscopy department – Charleston Area Medical Center
Requirements:
· Board Certification: required
· Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days

Interview process: virtual with Director and Chief Physician
