Gastroenterologist needed in WI!

Job description

Specialty: Gastroenterology

Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing

Shift Details: inpatient/outpatient and on call. Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:30p

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:30p endoscopy suite when not on call. Call is usually 1 night/week Wednesday 5p-Thursday 7a.

Work Details:

Support Staff: 4 total MD’s and 5 APP’s on team. Also have hospital nursing staff.
Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Full time schedule plus 5th week on call.
Patients per day: 10-14 in endoscopy suite. Variable for hospital.
Patient Population/Age: Adult-Geriatric
Department Description: Inpatient/outpatient and on call work.
EMR: EPIC
Special Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, Endoscopy

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required
License Required: Active WI license. Client is willing to license.
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
Minimum Experience Required: Gastroenterology fellowship required. 1-5 years of experience.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
