General Surgery APP Needed in NY

Potsdam, NY

Start: February
6 month assignment
Shift: M-F, 7a-3p or M-TH, 7a-5p
Weeknight and Weekend Call - as needed based on call holes, but call is mostly covered for Jan/Feb/March, other than one or two nights. The first week of April will be heavy on call shifts due to vacations
BLS, ACLS required
Patient load per day: 10-15
• Must be board-certified, NY license in hand
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience
• Must have recent EPIC experience
• Trauma experience required (Level III trauma)
• General/robotic surgery experience required
• Ortho would be a plus
• Notes: Will need to cover first assist and the ability to cover the floor. The candidate would only work the floor if they are here for a prolonged period. Otherwise, it would just be OR. Weekend rounding/call nights as needed based on call holes, but call is mostly covered for Jan/Feb/March, other than one or two nights.
