Hi! This is Kaitlin, Principal Recruiter, with Aya Locums. We have a new Surgery (first assist) opportunity in San Francisco, CA

• Start: (Target date): 11/17/2025
• Schedule: 4x10s M–F, rotating every other weekend
• Call: Some weeknights & weekends (remote)
• Volume: ~8–18 patients/day
• Experience: Minimum 1+ year required
• Procedures: First/second assist in OR, central line & Swan-Ganz insertion, thoracentesis, paracentesis, wound debridement, lumbar puncture, surgical drain/chest tube removal, suturing, and wound closure.
• Specialty: Liver transplantation, organ procurement, hepatobiliary surgery, general surgery for cirrhotic & post-transplant patients
• Patient Care: Assessments, diagnostic test ordering/interpreting, developing care plans, health education, continuity of care.
