Generally, a Surgical Nurse Practitioner:

Provides clinical support for surgical services, including pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative patient care.

Assesses patients, manages surgical care plans, and collaborates with surgeons and the broader care team.

Supports continuity of surgical care.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner board certification

Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York or willing to license.
