🌞 CA Licensing Opportunity! Thoracic Surgery PA Locum Needed in Los Angeles

WILL LICENSE!
- Thoracic surgery primarily, and any of the following service lines/cases, experience in all other specialties not required but a plus: Urology, GYN, Head and Neck, General surgery. XI robot across multiple service lines. Head and Neck uses the SP robot.
-MUST HAVE DAVINCI XI ROBOT EXPERIENCE. XP Robot experience for head and neck a plus.

Location: Provider will provide coverage between 2 hospitals within a 4 mile radius; will mainly work at one hospital
- Schedule: 5 8s, starting either 645a or 9a. Open to locals who want to work 2 days/week, or limited coverage.
- Role: First Assisting in 100% cases. No preop or post op. All intraop, assisting surgeon in the case in robotics case utilizing Davinci XI robot. Their current PAs cross between all services, but Thoracic is the major need. They would like a second PA who can do any combination of gen surg, urology, GYN, and head and neck using the SP robot.
- What types of procedures or cases will the PA regularly assist with? Thoracic- thoracotomies, lung lobectomies. Gyn: hysterectomies; Urology: prostatectomies, nephrectomies
- Is the PA expected to perform any procedures independently (e.g., minor cases, endoscopies)? No, will be in cases with a surgeon 100% of the time
- Call: some weekend call possible

• The shift will be 8 hours, 5 days a week with OT and possible weekend on-call
• Open to locals who want to work 2 days/week, or limited coverage.
