PayRates: Hourly: $150 Night Call rate: $250 pager fee 24hr weekend call rate: $1000 Call back: $170/hr Details: Start Date: May 1, 2025 Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, then Night Call 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM Weekend Call: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM (Rounding approx. 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM) Estimated Shifts Per Month: 14 Duties: Scrub for Cardiothoracic Surgery as First Assist Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) Scheduled Surgical Cases & Rotating On-Call for Emergency Cases Weekend Rounds and Inpatient Coverage as Needed Privileges Available: Full Privileges, Temporary Privileges Available EMR/Charting: Cerner and Epic On Call: Yes (Emergency Surgical Call Only) Will Candidate Work Solo? Yes Average Admissions While On Call: Minimal, surgeons take overnight first call Types of Cases Seen: CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) Thoracic Cases AVR (Aortic Valve Replacement) TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) Aortic Cases Requirements: Board Certified NP/PA Active Pennsylvania State License Required Minimum 1 Year of Cardiothoracic Surgery Experience Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) Experience Required ACLS, BLS, and CPR Certifications Required DEA Required Must be able to function independently in the OR
