General Surgeon – Holiday Coverage in Arkansas | Ongoing Locums Opportunity

Job description

We’re seeking a General Surgeon to provide coverage and help maintain trauma designation at a busy Arkansas facility. This role offers ongoing scheduling flexibility and premium holiday pay, with an immediate need for Christmas week coverage.

Assignment Highlights:

Location: Arkansas

Start Date: Week of Christmas (must be available — no exceptions)

Schedule:

1–2 weeks per month

Every other weekend coverage

6-month commitment preferred

Coverage: 24/7 call support to maintain trauma designation

Clinical Scope:

General Surgery Procedures:

Gallbladder/Biliary Disease

Hernia Repairs

GI Disorders (upper GI evals, biopsies, and acute care treatments)

Skin/Soft Tissue (removal of skin lesions, masses, cysts, lipomas)

Vascular Access (placement of subcutaneous ports for drug delivery)
