Position: General Surgeon
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call

Position Details
~Schedule: 1-2 weeks of coverage per month (specific dates shared during application process)
~Facility Type: Medical Group; Trauma Level II
~Practice Setting: Inpatient
~EMR/Charting Software: Cerner

Procedures:
~General Surgery:
~Adult trauma
~Appendectomy, ~Cholecystectomy, ~Hernioplasty
~Head/neck surgery (including thyroid)
~Chest wall/pleural procedures
~Breast surgery (including oncologic)

Specialized Surgery:
~Plastic surgery
Cranial surgery (e.g., synostosis)
~Facial and maxillofacial ~reconstructive surgery
~Hand/wrist surgery
~Abdominoplasty
~Genitourinary reconstructive surgery
~Burn-related surgery
~Laser surgery

Requirements:
~Board Status: Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible considered (lower rate)
~Licensure: Indiana (IN) license only
~Certifications: ACLS, BLS
