General Surgery Locums Opportunity in MO – Weekend Call Only

Job description

General Surgery – MO
Start: As soon as credentialed
Duration: 3 months with ongoing potential
Schedule: 1 weekend per month
Shift: Call only (Thursday 6pm – Monday 6am)

Work Details:
• Low volume – approximately 3–5 patients per weekend
• Adult patient population (16+)
• 110-bed hospital (average census 50–60 inpatients)
• EMR: EPIC
• Covering general surgery cases including hernia, gallbladder, appendectomy, EGD, abscesses
• DaVinci robot available
• Supporting team of 3 surgeons

Requirements:
• Board Certified in General Surgery
• Active MO license required

Credentialing takes approximately 90 days.
