Location: Nestled in Eastern Connecticut this city includes rural country areas, suburban neighborhoods, and historic districts. This area provides a low cost of living relative to large metropolitan areas and breathtaking coastline being within 80 miles from New York, NY, 40 miles from Hartford, CT and 20 minutes to the coast. Facility: A non-profit hospital-owned multi-specialty group. Academically affiliated. Opportunity: Seeking a mid-level provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide support to surgical services at hospital. Provider will: *Provide first and second assist as needed to attending surgeons in the operating room *Manage patients in post-op recovery and on inpatient units *Assist with surgical consults as needed *Assist with discharge orders on surgical patients as needed Compensation: Competitive base salary plus incentive compensation based on productivity and quality measures.
