🩺 Locum Tenens General Surgeon Needed – Ongoing Assignment
📍 IMLC or State-Licensed Providers Only | January 2026 Start

Specialty: General Surgery

Start Date: January 2nd, 2026

Contract Length: Ongoing — until permanent provider is hired

Location: 70-bed hospital (full details provided upon submission)

🗓️ Schedule Details:

Call + Clinic Coverage

📅 Call: 24/7 during the full assignment

🏥 Clinic Days: Tuesdays & Wednesdays

🔪 Surgery Days: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays


🏥 Facility & Practice Info:

Setting: Hospital

Support Staff: On-site (details provided upon request)

Patient Volume: Approx. 25–40 patients per clinic day

Case Type: Bread & butter general surgery

EMR: Cerner

Hospital Size: 70 beds

✅ Provider Requirements:

Board Certified General Surgeon (Required)

Active State License or IMLC (Required)

DEA License (Required)

Certifications Required:
 ▫️ BLS
 ▫️ ACLS

Minimum Experience: Not specified; prior independent practice preferred

✅ Open to IMLC Licensing if not already licensed

⏱️ Credentialing Timeframe:

Approx. 60 days
