Hospitalist NP/PA – Night Shift – Locum Tenens – Rochester, NH

Job description

A community hospital in the Rochester, New Hampshire area is seeking a Hospitalist NP or PA for night shift locum tenens coverage.

This is a hospital medicine position covering 6 PM to 6 AM shifts, with 8-10 shifts per month. The workload is low volume, with approximately 0-3 medical admissions per night and 0-3 rehab and psych consults per night. The facility has an open ICU with 5 beds — no procedures are required as EM physicians assist with procedures and tele-ICU manages drips and ventilators. A supervising physician is available by phone for case discussions.

Requirements:
- NP or PA with hospital medicine experience
- Active New Hampshire state license
- Comfortable working night shifts independently with physician phone backup
