Locum Internal Medicine Physician needed starting as soon as credentialed near Santa Cruz, CA.

Job description

- ASAP- as soon as credentialed - 6 months to a year
- Shift times: Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Frequency: Monday – Friday, every week- no call
- Setting: Internal Medicine- will consider a strong FP but that is not ideal.
- Duties: Typical IM clinic population average age 70. About half male/female with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, CHF, etc
- EMR: Cerner
- Patients per Day: Other providers seeing 12-18 a day depending upon complexity
- Support Staff: MA's, MOR's, APP (one in clinic) and RN assigned to clinic
- Reason for Coverage: Provider Retiring
- Credentialing: 2-3 months
- $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
