The hospitalist will manage new patient admissions during day shifts and provide cross-coverage for existing patients as needed. Responsibilities include responding to facility codes in collaboration with emergency medicine physicians who lead code management. Board certification and prescriptive authority are essential requirements for this position. The role involves comprehensive inpatient medical care and coordination with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
