Hospitalist MD needed in Alexandria, LA.

Job description

Specialty: Hospitalist
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 6 months, ongoing

Shift Details:

7 AM - 7 PM / 7 PM - 7 AM
Primarily day shifts with potential for some night shifts
Schedule:

Flexible scheduling, primarily days with occasional nights
Work Details:

Support Staff: 7 MDs and 1 NP during the day, 1 NP at night
Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Prefer providers able to work a minimum of 7 consecutive days. Primary need is for day shifts, with some night shifts possible.
Patients Per Day: Daily census approximately 130
Department Description: Closed ICU
EMR: Meditech (likely transitioning to EPIC)
Skills Required: Must have rapid response experience

Requirements:

Board Certification: ABIM required
License Required: Active Louisiana (LA) license required. Only considering licensed candidates at this time.
Certifications Required: ACLS, Active DEA
