Urgent Locums Hospitalist need in Southern Missouri.

Hospitalist
• Start Month: 3/31 or sooner - assignment will begin immediately following the privileging of the candidate
• 8-10 24 hour shifts per month
• Weekends only; Saturday 8:00am – Monday 8:00am
• 24 hour shifts with night call
• 6 month with potential to turn into an on-going assignment
• Less than 30 day credentialing timeline
• BC or BE IM
• 18 patients per day
o A patient’s average length of stay is about 27 days, depending on the patient’s level of acuity
• 2-3 admissions per day
• Procedures: Vent Management, Intubations and Central Lines are required
• Pulmonologist on staff and available for backup
• LTAC facility
• Low volume 30 single-occupancy rooms, providing a more private, comfortable experience during the patient’s stay
• Written charting
• Will pay travel and lodging
