Oregon - Hospitalist

Medical Center is seeking an experienced Internist for a Hospitalist position. Candidate must have skill set to round in critical care areas and respond to Rapid Responses as the hospital is a Chest Pain Accredited Center. Prefer for the new hospitalist to perform procedures, and ED will run codes.

It is a 113 bed, level III trauma hospital. Currently, the hospital is undergoing an expansion project set to add 156,000 sq ft, and remodel all existing space. Medical Center is an acute-care, 113-bed hospital.

Top Performer, Joint Commission in Key Quality Measures for 2010-2012. Medical Center is the only hospital in the State of Oregon to meet this distinction for four consecutive years, also as an Accredited Chest Pain Center: among only 12% of hospitals in the United States to hold this designation and second highest ranked hospital in Oregon in the Medicare Quality Measure Reward Program.
