About the clinician's workday

The Internal Medicine physician will deliver comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, managing chronic conditions, and providing acute care services during regular business hours. The clinician will maintain a consistent schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with potential for a 4-day work week, managing approximately 18-20 patients per day with no call requirements. Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and Connecticut medical licensure are mandatory along with prescriptive authority. The position includes dedicated medical assistant support for each clinician, registered nursing staff, and front desk administrative support to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
