Oncology APP Needed in OH

Job description

Location: Columbus

13 week assignment with the option to extend

• EMR: EPIC

Specialty needed: Inpatient Oncology Advanced Practitioner (NP or PA)

• Start date : February/March or as soon as credentialed (60-90 days, temps possible)

Schedule:

•7a – 7p

•Avg 40 hours per week (3 -12 hour weekly shifts with an additional 12 hr shift every month)

Work Details:

• Evaluate new and existing patients.

• Work in collaboration with a physician in formulating treatment plans for health problems and follow-up.

• Performs and/or assists with diagnostic procedures

• Administers therapeutic measures/obtains specimens as prescribed.

• Interpret and evaluate findings of studies/tests.

• Schedule diagnostic and operative procedures.

• Prescribe medication and blood products based upon laboratory results, and initiates orders for routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, therapeutic measures, and care post-discharge in accordance with written practice protocols.

Requirements:

• ACNP, AGACNP or APRN with extensive inpatient acute care experience

• 1-2 years of inpatient oncology experience preferred

• OH license required

• Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days (checking on temps)
