Hematology/Oncology APP (NP or PA) Needed in Minnesota
Target Start Date: March 9, 2026
Contract Length: 26‑week locum tenens assignment (flexible; 3–6 months ongoing)

Schedule
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only
Shift Structure:

2 shifts per week minimum

3 shifts per week strongly preferred

Day shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Days: Monday–Friday
Call: None

Practice Details
Setting: Outpatient hematology/oncology within a large acute care hospital
Patient Volume: ~11–16 patients per day
Patient Population: All ages
Support Staff: Yes
Hospital Size: 686 beds
EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope Includes:

Outpatient hematology and medical oncology visits

Follow‑ups, evaluations, and treatment management

Coordination with oncology team

No procedures beyond standard hem/onc outpatient care

Requirements
Board Certification: NP or PA

License: Active Minnesota license required (not willing to license)

DEA: Not required

Experience: Prior hematology/oncology experience preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days

Temporary Privileges: Possible with clean background

Submission Requirements:

Fingerprinting (results must post before privileges)

Travel
Travel support may be available depending on assignment specifics.

Location
Coon Rapids, Minnesota – Outpatient hematology/oncology practice within a hospital setting; local or travel candidates welcome
