Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner Needed in Washington
Target Start Date: April 1, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks (locum tenens), through September 30, 2026 (potential ongoing assignment)
Schedule
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only
Shift Structure:
Four 10‑hour shifts per week
Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Setting: Split between inpatient and outpatient oncology
Call: None
Practice Details
Setting: Combination of outpatient oncology clinic and inpatient hospital coverage
Patient Volume: ~8–10 patients per shift
Support Staff: Yes
Department Beds: 2
EMR: Epic
Clinical Scope Includes:
Oncology clinic management
Patient assessments
Managing infusions
Monitoring and responding to potential infusion reactions
Coordination of care between clinic and hospital teams
Requirements
Board Certification: Required
License: Active Washington license or compact license
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS
Experience: Prior oncology experience required, including infusion management
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days

State license numbers and expiration dates
Disclosure of any background or disciplinary history
Travel
Travel support available within standard caps, including:
Lodging within defined nightly limits
Long‑term housing options with pre‑approval
Round‑trip flight reimbursement within capped amounts
Compact/economy rental car
Mileage reimbursable at standard IRS rates
Location
Edmonds, Washington – Oncology practice with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities; local or travel candidates welcome
