Nephrology Physician needed in TN – Inpatient & Outpatient Locum Coverage!

Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Position Overview

We are seeking a Nephrology physician to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient coverage, including management of dialysis patients. This role includes clinic responsibilities during the week and 24-hour call coverage.

Coverage Details

Coverage Needed:

24-hour call coverage

8 hours daily in clinic, Monday–Friday

Call Frequency: Varies

Schedule: March 2026 start, ongoing

Clinical Responsibilities

Inpatient and outpatient nephrology care

Management of dialysis patients:

Hemodialysis

Peritoneal dialysis

Adult patients only

No pediatric coverage required

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology

Active medical license (or ability to obtain)

Experience with inpatient and outpatient nephrology preferred

Comfort using Epic EMR
